How do I know if my phone is compatible with an OXXO CEL eSIM?

To use an OXXO CEL eSIM, your phone needs to meet two main requirements:

Compatible Hardware: Generally, iPhones (XS and later models), Samsung Galaxy phones (S20 series and later), and most recent high-end devices support eSIM technology. You can check this by dialing *#06# in your phone app; if you see a code called EID, your phone is compatible.
Carrier unlocked: If you purchased your phone through a carrier with a contract or financing plan, it may be locked and unable to accept eSIMs from other providers. In that case, you’ll need to pay off your phone and request an unlock from your current carrier before activating your OXXO CEL eSIM.

Can I use my physical SIM and an OXXO CEL eSIM at the same time?
